A good collection of songs just mostly live and not the original recordings. Vocals suffer on some of the songs

The first line in the description should have been: "'If you Leave Me Now' is not the original recording. It is a live recording song." I love the band & the song but really, next time give a well-appointed description about he album. I still love Chicago & all their songs but I wanted all orignal songs.

look, these are not the original recordings. These were re-recorded in an overdone way. Buyer Beware.

If you find the songs you like, go back to the original songs instead of looking at this compliation. Buying Chicago V, then III, then II, and maybe X and CTA is a much better path then getting the love songs compilation.

Amazing how many excellent love songs Chicago put out over the years. I'm partial to the earlier ones--half of the songs in Chicago's Greatest Hits Vol 1 are here. Another striking omission, though, is Make Me Smile: I'm so happy that you love me Life is lovely when you're near me Tell me you will stay; make me smile --wonderful lyrics.

These are truly American Classics! They represent the soundtrack to our lives. Over 30 years of writing, playing, and singing some of the best made American Music. I think they have sold over 130 million albums, only the Beach Boys have out sold them, yet the "Music Industry" has never honored them by inducting them inot the R&R hall of fame...I call it the R&R Hall of Shame!

A little too heavy on the uneven mid and late '80s Chicago for my taste...but ok for an overview of their love songs. Wishing You Were Here and If You Leave Me Now are excellent but there is a glaring oversight here: (I've Been) Searching So Long.
