Awesome Record

I got this on vinyl for 99 cents used and it is awesome. My friend played it for me and I instantly loved it. Some of the tracks are pretty forgettable ( but still good), songs like Brand New Love Affair, Harry Truman, and Oh Thank You Great Spirit really stand out though. I haven’t thoroughly listened to their other records but for now this is my favorite of their releases. This album is great to relax to and play with friends. 4.5/5
Extremely underrated

This album is extremely underrated by fans and the band alike. Perhaps it doesn’t flow as well as some of Chicago’s earlier efforts, but from front to back it’s a collection of solid, yet diverse songs. Anyway You Want, Brand New Love Affair I & II, Oh, Thank You Great Spirit, and Old Days are the cream of the crop, but the rest is extremely listenable and enjoyable. Love it for what it is - an eclectic collection of well-written pop songs, and one that features some of Terry Kath’s best work.
An interesting Chicago album

I remember being pretty disappointed when I bought this one when it first came out. The strange thing is that I
kept coming back to it, Later, after I gave away all of my vinyl and, over time, replaced in CD format what I had lost I eventually decided to repurchase it. Again, even though it doesn't seem to grab me I continue to play it every now and then - only now I have over 2,000 CDs to choose from! I must really like it. (I had a scratch on the record on "Brand New Love Affair" at "...to erase the pain..." and I can still hear that repeated loop when I listed to it in digital format - too funny!)
Hey, give it a chance

No, it is not Chicago VII and not Chicago V but it is a Chicago album with the horns, guitar of Terry Kath and the work of a band and what more do you need when you listen to an album...i liked it, more now than then...strange thing though, when you bought the album, you got a patch that you would iron on of the cover
