  • Not as good as 1$ or prior

Jason Scheff’s voice was triple tracked Oman attempt to get that similar voice as his predecessor. Unfortunately they went back to the well too many times and came up dry. This was David Fosters last project with Chicago. It’s no wonder why Peter Cetera’s second solo album after leaving the band left this album in the dust in 1986. It didn’t chart as well and there were no chart topping singles.
  • Still Got it

18 isn't as good as 17 but so what. 17 was their best. To get close to that one is an honor and 18 is close. The first 6 songs are great. It proves that Chicago isn't washed up and still have the ability to churn out solid albums.
  • The beginning of a downward spiral.

This album shows how bad the band was affected after bassist Peter Cetera left in 1985. While Jason Scheff is a decent replacement, he doesn't have the charm Peter had. However, there are some good cuts including "Will You Still Love Me?" and "If She Would Have Been Faithful". But they would never hit the standards of Chicago 17, even if Peter where still involved.
  • Not like 17,but still OK.

This is Chicago's first album with Jason Scheff..Replacing Peter Cetera.Jason does a great job in studio, but not live.. I have been a Chicago fan for years. Love there music, without Cetera they are not the same.
