    This is a really gorgeous recording. The veena is such an gentle and beautiful instrument and in this album it is played very well. There is lots of beauty and purity in the playing. Few people know this, but the veena is actually one of the most ancient instruments from India, much older than it's more famous relative the Sitar. This album is a perfect introduction to the venerable instrument.

    I was drawn to the cover and sampled the CD. Its become one of my favorite at the moment. I am always looking for music I can play while I do my work quietly, or for my yoga practice. This is an ideal recording. I find the sound of the Veena insturment very sweet and soothing. Do recommend if you are looking something to listen while you relax.
