I really enjoyed the first album from Gayatri Govindarajan and was glad to see this album available. It's a soothing sound during meditation and for relaxing at home. The Veena sounds very similar to the Sitar, but seems to have a deeper and more robust energy. I think you'll love the sound.

I love the exotic sound of the Veena. It reminds me of the sound a sitar, but with more depth and soul. I've begun to enjoy the morning meditation even more with the sounds of this CD. I always enjoy listening to something different to keep things fresh and this one fits the bill perfectly. Great stuff!
