1) While her core fans are old enough to remember some of the R&B greats during the era and what defined the sound, it doesn’t mean that we want a new rendition of it. If we want to remember and enjoy those classics, streaming allows us direct exposure to that. So enough with the time travel. My mother who is close to 60 would appreciate a 60s theme, but she doesn’t even know who you are!!! Lol
2) I’m no musician but my daughter is heavy in the arts and plays for the VA Symphony. The instruments I hear doesn’t sound like real ones - something doesn’t sound authentic like your first album. Have you ditched your band? Smh
3) I own all your albums, and as a longtime fan, this is your worst work. I’m literally deleting songs from my library. There are a few good songs, but their not great like your old music. I can’t even recommend one track to put on continuous loop because I just want to get thru the songs. Lol Sorry Jill. Still love you tho.

This is a great album. There is a lot of truth and honesty in this album. Also it tells a story that people can relate to. It was a long wait but still a fan and the album is really good.

Not sure why there's some unflattering comments about this album. This album is "I'm grown now" Jill, Ms "I have on my big girl panties now" Jill. Her words, written and sung have always given me goosebumps. All these years and she still has the linguistic story telling skills to die for. Always amazed at how she puts the words together. I love love love this album just as I loved her previous work. ❤️
