Truly a great album. Worth the money because each song give off a different feeling. And I find that to be very awesome. I feel like dancing now. :3

Only having listened to two songs from Oh! The Grandeur, this seems like such a fun album! Well, it IS Andrew Bird. You can’t go wrong with him! Andrew Bird is a composer you can listen to if you want something simple, but not boring. The songs that I've listened to on this record are "Candy Shop" and "Dora Goes to Town". These two songs repeat themselves [which makes them simple], but the lyrics are so random and complex [which makes them not boring]. The only reason that I didn't give this five stars is because I haven't listened to the whole album, but I'm so sure it's amazing. :)

Andrew Bird accompanied by his Bowl of Fire put out this beautiful, extremely jazz influenced album. If you have only heard his solo work, this album will dazzle you, bringing you to new places. A must-have for any music fan.

This album is an exciting musical journey, combining a romp of retro-jazz and swing with elements of many other different musical periods in a very whimsical yet musically vital fashion. The violin work and expressive vocals of Andrew Bird are the highlight, but the backing instrumentals of his band (the Bowl of Fire) are quite impressive. If you like new and exciting music, look no further. This album will take you into the past and into the avant-garde of music simultaneously. Highlights: Tea and Thorazine, (What's Your) Angle?, The Confession, Beware (Reprise)
