There's so much depth to the new interpretations. Made me fall in love with her sound all over again.

One of my very favorite albums ever redone in the most masterful way I could've hoped for. Thank you so much for this gift to your fans, Natalie. I needed this album so much.

I wanted to love this and I totally embrace new arrangements and re-recordings. Unfortunately however, most tracks have been re-envisioned as slow and lifeless β€” the others have awkward arrangements and I won’t even talk about the Jealously track. Where has your passion gone, Natalie? I miss you.

I really wanted to love this album. I was excited with the newness of it. What really killed it for me was "Beloved Wife". The best two stanzas of the original in my opinion are the closing two- and to find them changes..and basically absent...was a major let down for me.

This album really surprised me. I've never been a Natalie Merchant fan. Not that I didn't like her, but I didn't see the poetic nature of her music with all the over production of pop music on top of them. When the songs are stripped down, the lyrics really come through. I feel like I am discovering all these old songs for the first time. This album is chill.

Full disclosure- I have been a Natalie fan for years and am in the film that she made to accompany this film. With that said, Tigerlily is one of my favorite albums- it has been with me through some formative years. I couldn't have imagined a better rerecording of Tigerlily- what she has done is enhanced many of the songs with string arrangements, making some of the more stripped down songs on the original more lush and full with the strings. Most impressive to me are the arrangements of "The Letter" and "I May Know the Word". I also really enjoyed the new version for "Where I Go" with the accordian addition. I can't imagine better arrangements on "River", "Seven Years", or "Cowboy Romance", but she has changed them up a bit and they stand up with the originals. If you download the album, do yourself a favor and fine the accompanying documentary. It is a memoir of Natalie's career and songs as told by Natalie, fans, and friends. The film will stay with you for many years to come and really show the influence Natalie's music has had on her fans. it is truly a love letter to fans, and a must-see for any NM fan.

She was my favorite singer growing up and more than any artist, framed and lovingly supported my world view and way of feeling. I cried through most of the documentary which is a must see for anyone that wants to get in to touch with what really matters. Much love and gratitude for the blessing of Natalie. Eternally a force of light and love.

How did I think I could not have heard her voice in so long ? Natalie's voice is unique ! Her lyrics tell some of the most lovely stories I could never have expressed in my own feelings as experiencing or relating to in one way or another . She is a universal voice. My original Tigerlilly cd needed to be replaced too! I had played the words off the plastic ! I know every word by heart and beat to every song . This was my favorite cd when Natalie went solo and I really think going solo was the best thing for her in the long run . I love this new remix . I will still have to replace my old original Tigerlilly too! I am sentimental! 😜🎈❀️😜🎈❀️😜🎈❀️

Well, I love Natalie anyway but what a lovely recording from such a wonderful artist. So easy on the soul and so perfect in every way. Puts the world at peace if only for a moment.
