That's great news for FOF! They make substantial music that 30 sec samples don't give justice to.This EP is a great example of what they can do-Electronic pop meets chamber music.Freshly reimagined old Christmas favorites that respect the tradition and new original work that fits right in next to it.'The Earth Stood Still' is their own earnest little Christmas Carol that helps make Advent II stand out from all the Chri$tma$ Album$. Do yourself a favor and get Advent I to go with this one.

I have listened to this EP many times and it never gets old. Their versions of classic Christmas songs are absolutely amazing and epic. Very well done, yet again. You will not be disappointed.

This is hands down the most genius Christmas album I've ever heard. Advent EP was great, but this was even better. I was absolutely blown away. It is the most beautiful, well thought out compilation of music I have ever heard. Huge props to FOF!

Future never disappoints me. And this album is great! I loved all of the songs, but especially "Joy to the World" and "The Day the Earth Stood Still". I can now enjoy my Christmas season early and I think that these songs are the best remixes of the carols out there.
Fof never surprises, always amazes

Make no mistake, there are no bland carol rehashes present. But that's no surprise if you are familiar with Future of Forestry's musical reputation. They present incredibly creative takes on the originals, using their staple drums/cello/bells/guitar combo. The Earth Stood Still and the instrumental track are fantastic originals that maintain their draw listen after listen. Pie Jesu is a beautiful sonic landscape that draws memories of Sanctitatis from their debut. All in all a fantastic continuation of their Christmas ep from last season. The only thing better is seeing them perform it live!

I think "The Earth Stood Still" is one of the most beautiful Christmas songs I've heard in a long time. This album has a lot of variety for only being an EP. Merry Christmas to me...a bit early.
