    I <3 iTunes for bringing us surprises like this every now and then. This was a "Just for You" recommendation based on my liking The Candlepark Stars and, I'm guessing, Signal Hill. And what a perfect little gem of an album: fluid and beautiful and moving. Don't bother trying to find just one or two tracks: download the whole thing, you'll be happy you did.

    the beautiful and sparkling guitars of warming post-rock acts like explosions in the sky melted seamlessly together with the quiet meditation of ghostly ambient artists like stars of the lid. so absolutely beautiful that it's impossible to not fall in love with. give it up for the DIY guys devoting themselves to gorgeous instrumental music.
