Simple Plan's first two albums were amazing! Their 3rd album self-titled is also amazing. It's a complete departure from the first two but it's worth checking out. This album feels underrated to me for some reason I don't know why. My favorite songs are "Take My Hand", "Your Love Is A Lie", "The End", "Save You", "Generation", and "Holding On".

Simple Plans 3rd self-titled album is another great addition into what is already an amazing catalog of music. They took a four-year gap since 2004’s “Still Not Getting’ Any”, and with it a slight style change. Whereas before they were pop-punk, this album takes a more alternative rock approach. Instrumentally, the band knows how to write some really catchy hooks and good riffs. It always has energy behind the music. Vocally, Pierre still sounds just as good as ever, and lyrically, the songs are less emo, focusing more on growing up and love. It’s still a relatable record, and one any SP fan should not miss at all. It’s different, but in a very good and refreshing way. There is no filler on this record, but some of my favorite tracks include: “When I’m Gone”, “Take My Hand”, “Your Love Is a Lie”, “No Love”, “What If”, “Time to Say Goodbye”, and “Generation”. But all the songs are great. Buy this and support these guys. They deserve it!!!

Im looking back at their older albums and wow, this album is one of their best. I love all the songs on this album. The way that they changed is sort of sad, i loved this style of music that they had, but they are still good. Not as much as this album, but still good.

I don't know why a lot of people talk down on this album. But honestly this change was good and simple plan pulled it off well. I still listen to this and this came out my sophomore year of high school. The songs and the lyrics helped me get past a lot. 5 stars great album amazing band <3

I love this album. it is one of the best albums I've herd.I love the songs YOUR LOVE IS A LIE, I CAN WAIT FOREVER, WHEN IM GONE, TAKE MY HAND, THE END, GENERATIONS, HOLDING ON, NO LOVE AND WHAT IF. The music video for when I'm gone was awesome. I'm glad to be a fan of SIMPLE PLAN!!!

I am so dissapointed being a die hard SP fan. I still love when Im Gone and You're Love Is A Lie but the rest is just terrible pop rock. Do ur self a favor and listen to their first two albums

Albums like this usually make me sick to my stomach with all the crappy lyrics and junk, but this one actually managed to pull off a few really great songs. The two I really like are THE END and SAVE YOU, and TAKE MY HAND is pretty good too. Also, if you like this album, I suggest checking out Secondhand Serenade and Marion Raven.
