Bear’s use of the hurdy gurdy with his character is one of the most interesting parts of the soundtrack. Glad to see the producers allowed the genius of Bear Mccreary to continue with the game. The evilness of Odin and Thor that was conveyed in the first game is masterfully heard in the tracks, “Hand of Odin” and “The All Father.” The powerful, stirring theme of Kratos in a MAJOR key at the end of “The All Father” will bring you to tears. Bear Mccreary: thank you. I truly hope we continue to experience your music in the future sequels.

Bear, u did amazing, and I think Midgard is for the Midgard Serpent (AKA World Serpent AKA Jormungandr) which is the most epic creature is Norse Mythology. Hope he’s a good guy k bye! ✌🏾

Every song on this track reflect perfectly the themes surrounding the game. I have chills still listening to certain songs, even on repeat.

I was looking forward more than anything to the score of Ragnarök, counting the days until I’d be able to listen to the new album. And I declare I am not disappointed. The second rendition of the main theme was brilliant in every way and builds upon the first. The theme for Odin and Thor was mesmerizing, a truly memorable piece of music! This album hits all the emotional beats and never misses its mark. The God of War Ragnarök Soundtrack is undeniably one of the best video game scores in the history of the genre.

Incredible game takes a while to get going but wow the ending is incredible and the music is flawless….they’ve outdone themselves with this epic conclusion to the Norse saga, bravo! 10/10 Game of the Year
