I have heard of the band for years, but had been skeptical of bands gaining a lot of attention suddenly. However, I have to say that this album lives up to it all fantastic beginning to end.

This album, this band, this music is phenomenal! Listening to the layers of sounds and styles interweaving is breathtaking, and songs like “And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope” and “As Icicles Fall” raise my goose pimples like nothing before or since my first listening, spare the song “Painters of the Tempest” from another album of theirs, Citadel. There’s not really anything to compare this with, between the blend of soft and harsh vocals, heavy metal with classical and Spanish themes, all thrown into 7 painstakingly crafted songs with a quite distinct and unique style; this is cinematic music that can walk you through a wide range of emotions making you wanna cry laugh and dance to its sweet sound. Buy this album, you’ll regret it not.
