  • WORSE INTERPRETATION YET!

Of all the crud Glee spits out, this is their worse yet. This is also the worst interpretation of these songs yet! That includes all the various studio recordings of the songs that arent linked to any production or cast. Glee took it upon themselves to crap all over this soundtrack. Changing lyrics, rearranging to the point they're unrecognizable and just all out ruining the atmosphere and intent of the songs. To call this anyhting but what it is, utter crap, is to demean and spit all over the glory of the original soundtrack.

Do you like wasting your money? Do you like crap? Do you like attempts at ruining something fun and original? If you answered yes to these questions, then this is for you! If you're looking for the soundtrack to Rocky Horror, get the actual soundtrack that came out in 2011. It has the original 1975 soundtrack plus some previously unreleased songs from the movie.

I admit I've never been a fan of Glee, but I just listened to a few of these songs finally (the previews) since I didn't bother back when the episode was on the air. I pretty much agree with everyone who says this shouldn't even have been done. Rocky Horror is not mainstream, it doesn't belong mainstream, especially not a sanitized version of it. As for women dressing up as Frank vs. a woman playing Frank, I have to say one is okay, the other not so much. A woman in lingerie isn't a transvestite. Then you have the changing of "transexual" to "Sensational" which when combined with the singer not even being able to be a transvesite, it just ruins then entire song. As for the person(s) though who say the only man who sings Sweet Transvestite well is Tim Curry, I agree he is awesome, however check out Anthony Steward Head (most famous in America as Giles from Buffy) 's cover. It's amazing.

I'm a huge fan of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. after listening to sweet transvestite on this album..well, it makes me very sad. They butchered and redid songs that shouldn't be redone. It was perfect in its original cast. If they want to screw up a musical then lease choose something else. Like Grease or West Side Story. Anything but The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Cause you don't mess with perfection.

WHY in God's name is a girl casted as Frank N Furter? Completely ruins the whole story... And it's not Sensational, it's TRANSEXUAL...Also, Brad and Frank DO NOT sing in the Time Warp!!!! Glee has got it all wrong.
  • um....maybe.

I loved Emma's voice in Touch-a Touch-a Touch me, but the rest of the album was kinda lame.
