I cannot believe how good this album is. I've been a fan for a long time, but this is really something special. I was actually at the show where this was recorded . . . three days after the 9/11 attacks. It was up at an outdoor amphitheater in the mountains of Utah, and I think everyone was a bit shell-shocked. But in the end it ended up being a very special, unique concert. Probably the best one I've ever attended. "Edwin's Tale--1862" was dedicated to the victims, and that thing still gives me chills. Anyway, great, great, great. I think it's incredible!
Excellent!!!

Great, great live album. Live albums should leave it all in the way it really happened. And no compilations of recordings from a 50 concert tour. I love it when I sense I'm hearing one concert from top to bottom. Like Neil Young's "Live at Massey Hall 1971". So I must say hats off to Breinholt, because this one sounds that way. Second--and this is strange--the recording quality is actually BETTER on this album than on Breinholt's first three studio albums . . . but it's live. Very rare. And finally, having seen him perform live, I must say he and his band are really a live act. These versions have energy and some new arrangements that improve upon the studio versions. What a live album should do! "Blah, Blah, Blah" is a bit campy, and the intro at the opening isn't necessary. But that aside, this is aboslutely one of the finest live albums I've ever heard. This and "All The Color Green" are his best.
Amazing Live experience!

I can only imagine when listening to this album what Peter must be like LIVE in concert. Thank goodness for iTunes bringing it home to me. I dream of seeing Peter in concert live and this is as close as I can get for now. You will not regret getting this album and the other 3 are a must buy too. Say your Name, Jubilee, You wear flowers and Long way to run are just some of my favorites. Thank you iTunes for sharing Peter Breinholt with the world!

Live September is truly amazing. I listen to this album more than any other in my collection. If you are not familiar with Peter Breinholt and the Big Parade this album is where to start. Great live performances, music and lyrics are very clear, and the band has tons of energy. Breinholt's lyrics are soul searching, and the music is just plain fun. I highly recommend this album.
