I was given this CD as a gift and it has been my favorite of the group. My 4 yo son and 18 month old twins dance and clap. Susie has a warm voice that I enjoy listening too as well (which is not often the case with most "kids" music.) I just bought another of her albums.

This is a great CD of Nursery Rhymes. Our 10 month old loves it and so do we. We get to remember all of these great classics by singing along with him. We take this CD to grandma's house, on trips and anywhere he needs some reassurance and comfort from home.

This cd is great for all children and it's easy on the parents also. There are fresh takes on old songs that are funny and cool to listen to, I even join in and sing the songs myself. It really is a great buy and a must have for your children.
  • A wonderfully diverse classic!

Every nursery rhyme included in this fabulous collection is indeed a classic. However, they are not done in a very traditional style, which is this CD's strength is why it's not the same as every other kids' CD out there. Tallman arranges her songs in a wide array of musical styles, from straight up rock to rap to country to folk, and that's what endears it to my 15-month old son, my husband, and me. My husband and I are both big music fans and have always expressed our desire to expose our son to as many types of music as possible. "Classic Nursery Rhymes" is a great start!

This is one of those "must have" buys if you have infants or young children. Some of the greatest songs we grew up with (campfire songs, roadtrip songs, etc.) sung with great voice and accompaniment! We love it so much, we bought more albums--they are in our minivan, playroom, etc. It's a great way to expose your infant or toddler or kids to classic and wholesome music. Probably as important to own as a good cradle or car seat.
  • It's Got A Good Beat & You Can Dance To It

My 6 year-old has been listening to this album since she was two, still listens to it, and is now joined by her two year-old brother who loves it as well. They dance to the music, recite the nursery rhymes, and generally have a great time. Sometimes even my brooding 8 year-old son is drawn in, which is really saying something. I like the variety of music styles, the guest artists, and Susie's voice is really wonderful.
