  • A Great Stress Reliever

I was a medic in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After a day of taking care of injured soldiers at Scott AFB I would go back to my room and listen to this album through my headphones to unwind and regain my sanity. I can honestly say that this album and it companion album "One Stormy Night" kept me from turning to drugs and/or alcohol to cope with the stress.

I've been looking for this album for years, hoping one day it would be rereleased. I wore out the vinyl as a kid during hot, dry summer nights in Colorado. I'm so glad to finally find a little piece if my past.

Back in the 70's I used to get laid quite regularly while this album was playing. Now that I'm in my 60's I get laid ever once in awhile this album is playing. I think this album must have been a chick magnet to those of my age group.
  • Relax and float away

I heard rain, looked out at clear skies and wondered what in the world was going on. It was my freshman year of college and my suitemate's room was lit only by a candle and this music was playing. I plopped on the spare bed, closed my eyes and floated away to the most incredibly relaxing sounds I'd ever heard -- and I've been looking for it ever since. Thanks, iTunes, for bringing this stormy, incredibly relaxing night back into my life.
