Love this classic song takes me back to the 90s. She couldn't have sung it better, it reminded me of my own relationship i had .

Hawkins has had many incredible moments since this debut album, but as a whole this album surpasses any entire album I have ever heard in terms of vulnerability, personal connection, vibe, wicked vocals, memorable lyrics, and a sound that was fresh and new at the time that has yet to be matched. Aside from the most obvious favorite song on the album, I encourage you take a listen to "Don't Stop Swaying," "Before I Walk On Fire," "Listen," "California Here I Come" and really all the rest. Every single track on this album is solid, thought provoking, and beautifully raw with a rhythm that can only belong to Sophie B. Hawkins. If I was stranded by myself on a deserted island, this would be the one album I absolutely would have to have.

I bought this not long after the release of "Damn" (based on the strength of that song) and really enjoyed it. It is strong from top to bottom. Just a very unique and sometimes funky piece of work. "Listen" is always my favorite, an unbelievable song, many many listens of that one. Enjoy.

Every song is magnetic. Besides being absolutely beautiful, she is so talented and it shows on every song on this album.

I bought this as a teenager and loved it. It was a little strange. Very different. Raw. This was one of the first cassettes (yes cassette and I still have it) that I would listen to over and over again...every song. It is a great purchase for any music lover.
