these tunes only scratch the surface,but they are the hits that everbody else caught on to,for the jazz purist recognize his contributions to music in general.i was born listening to Herbie back in '62,now 47 years later he is still my main man.check out "stars in your eyes" and you'll hear the brilliant use of an instrument not commonly used in this genre of music...after all these years this tune still give me goose bumps.great vocal work....peace.
