Description

As a Rock Chick, Shirleen Jackson lived through all the kidnappings and explosions. Along the way, she also watched the dramatic love stories that came with those rides unfold.

But long ago, Shirleen made her choice. It affected who she was and would always be. She decided to settle for what she had and not want more. She had good friends. She was raising two fine young men who weren’t hers, but she loved them anyway.

She was good.

And then Moses Richardson crashed into her life, literally…and deliberately.

Moses has different ideas about Shirleen. He’s more interested in the Shirleen of now, mostly because she’s interesting. And funny. And loyal. Smart. Beautiful.

But Moses has a big challenge on his hands. He has to convince Shirleen of all that.

And then convince her she deserves to have more.

Please note that Rock Chick Reborn is a novella.

I loved this book. It is not your normal Rock Chicks book but it is a great addition to the series. So many things in this book made me smile and laugh out loud. Shirlene and Moses make the perfect couple and Moses is exactly what Shirlene needed in a man. This series must be read in order and I guarantee you will love each and every book!

Their story is beautiful. The emotions, concerns, dialogue and outcomes are some of my favorite Rock Chick moments. Shirleen has been a favorite of mine in this series and Moses is perfect for her. I love how intricate the self doubts are and how they are worked through. The role that Lee and the men took this time around was perfect and I loved it for Shirleen. To have her backstory and then these events...my lord she deserved it. My heart melted and I cried over the scenes with Roam and Sniff and I am fingers crossed over here that the epilogue means we are in for some more Hot Bunch and Rock Chicks via Roman 😻💜😎 I would recommend that you read the series before starting this book just because it will make certain scenes and the outcome that much more poignant ❤️❤️❤️ love Shirleen!!! And of course ...Rock On!!!

I love these rock chicks; I love reading their stories and getting caught up on the book world. A must read to see Shirleen get her happy after not feeling she deserves to be happy is beautiful

I was almost hesitant to buy this book. I honestly wasn’t all that interested in Shirleen’s story. However, it’s KA and I can never give a pass on any story of hers. My hesitancy was quickly overcome in half of a chapter as I was sucked into this emotionally charged, romantic tale. I have yet to find an author (and I’ve read plenty) that can draw the emotions out of me like KA. At one point in this story, I was so absorbed I didn’t even realize I had started crying until I felt the tears run down my cheeks. This story was simply beautiful in all ways. I’m beyond grateful KA gave us this tale and so very glad I spent time with Shirleen and Moses.

Love the Rock Chick series, and finally Shirleen’s story. LOVED IT! Moses is perfect. Shirleen & her boys made me cry happy tears. Didn’t want it to end. Needed to be about a thousand more pages. But I can’t believe the cliffhanger “could have done without the kidnappings” was followed by this concludes the Rock Chick series.

Shirleen and Moses were wonderful and perfect and all things right in the world. I’m not sure how she does it, but KA pulls such emotion from her characters, you’d have to be dead not to feel something. I laughed, cried, and smiled relentlessly throughout Shirleen’s “rebirth.” One could say that KA does epilogues well. Rock Chick Reborn is no different. THAT EPILOGUE, THOUGH. Can only wait for what’s to come.
