  • A Spiritual Experience

John Michael has written some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard in my life. However, it is also a joy to hear him sing songs he did not write--lovely, inspirational music that has become a standard in our Catholic worship. Although he has done many, I wish John Michael would cover all of our beloved hymns and give them the "Talbot" treatment--perfect vocals with lush and amazing instrumentals. John Michael, and his brother, Terry, have written and performed inspirational music that has been an important part of my spiritual journey. Thank you, John Michael, for sharing your gift with the world.

This man was truly touched by the power of God to put together these amazing church songs. It is a spectacular album I would recommend to anyone. Also, if you know a friend or family member that does not believe in God or is having doubts about theie religion a fantastic book to read is Reasons to Believe by Scott Hahn.

I was amazed to find that John Michael Talbot and his brother were founding members of folk rock band "Mason Proffitt" from circa 1971. They were a great band then with excellent musicianship. He has continued that musical excellence in his Christian music collection. Don't miss his works. Uplifting, authentic and strengthening. What a wondrous surprise to find an old 'friend' engaged in such an endeavor.

My family had the chance to see him perform when he came to my church when I was little. It was the most amazing experience. We have this on a tape. Yeah, it was that long ago. He is such a great song writer and performer.

John Michael Talbots collection is the absolute best of two worlds: Contemporary Catholic Music and John Michael's God-gifted musical skills. Combined they make for an inspiring collection of music for all who love the music of post Vatican-2! From the simplicity of One Bread, One Body to the "Get on your feet and sing until you cry with joy" We Are One Body, this collection has something for the Catholic Music Lover. Contemporary yet respectful of the love that went into the writing of each piece, John Michael Talbot has created a masterpiece!

Absolutely love it!!! One of the most inspiring Christian albums I've ever listened to. Each track evokes a different but strong emotion from within. Buy the whole album. It'll be worth it.
