Yes one of my top 5 favorites of all time , whenever you want to relax and meditate with songs with great soul and meaning play this masterpiece.
You've got a lot of nerve.

Bob Dylan wrote that Johnny Rivers' version of "Positvely 4th Street" is his favorite cover version of one of his songs. This album includes that song as well as Johnny's hits "Summer Rain" and "Look To Your Soul". The other songs are good, too.

In the summer of '68, I was working graveyard at a Sears catalog store, & would bring in a stack of LPs every night to listen to on a honking console, and along with Cheap Thrills & Wheels Of Fire, I listened to this all the time. Rivers' earlier stuff was always pleasant, & he could definitely rock it, but this huge departure from his earlier style was a big change, both for him, and for us.

I am 18 years old. I was cleaning out my grandmother's closet with her the other day, and we found this in there. She said it was her favorite LP when she was 14. I took it home and gave it a spin on my record player. So beautiful. It's aged very well. It actually sounds like what some artists are trying to copy today, in some ways. LISTEN TO THOSE HORNS.

I can't believe there are no reviews for this LP yet...
What can I say but what an amazing album. It is the soundtrack to so many years.
