I recently read a review about these guys so I decided to give them a try by buying this album. It has been playing in my truck every day since I bought it last week. (My work commute is only about 20 minutes each way.) I have enjoyed this album so much that I plan to try more of their music. The vocals are incredibly strong and soulful, the music is thoughtful and solid. The lyrics are intelligent and powerful. The White Buffalo are a very good band.

This album needs to be listened from start to finish in the order it is places. It's a story about a young man who falls in love but goes to war and then has to learn to live a normal life again. Fantastic lyrics for every song, and they all have a lot of soul to them.

Every White Buffalo album will hit you at your core; jake smith will sing your song. He will send chills down your spine, tears from your eyes and also a smile on your face. I have carried his music with me for a few years, in times of sorrow, triumph and joy. The white buffalo is pure gold.
See them live, you won't regret it. And if you are so lucky, the white buffalo, acoustic with jake solo; you'll cry through it but your soul will be soothed.
If his voice doesn't give you goosebumps, you just aren't a musical person.
