Right when I was about to give up on music altogether (save the 80's music!), I bump into this band from hearing one of their songs off of "The Shannara Chronicles" on Netflix. Why have I never heard of them before?! They are so very awesome, and a breath of fresh air in today's industry. Keep it up!

First time I heard The New Division I knew I heard and felt the essence of music from my past. It took a few minutes to put my finger on it but I was shocked when I did. The New Division is unique in its own right but in my opinion has the spirit of my beloved Depeche Mode in its bones and its wonderful! John your music is amazing and beautiful, thank you for these gifts!

Amazing from start to finish, many memorable tracks such as the crescending opener "Opium", the turbulent "Violent", the invoking nostalgia of "Memento", or the rolling credits of "Saturday Night". Shadows is quite possibly the best album I've listened to in years, I'm glad I was turned onto them, and as a local act, I'm glad I can support their artistic endeavor. Their other albums Rookie, and Night Escape are very good in their own right, but in Shadows, The New Division really shines.
