    Hands down, there’s no composer in Hollywood these days like Mark Petrie. This guy really knows how to bring out the music and emotion with it. If you haven’t already purchased this album, I have two words for you: BUY IT! I really hope to see some of his other music released in the near future.

    Genesis is an amazing blend of music from full out, bombastic epic compositions to more slower, emotionally concentrated, yet still well written pieces. If you are a fan of Two Steps from Hell, Audio Machine and other trialer music groups- this is at that level. Truly amazing!

    In my opinion, Mark Petrie is better than the leading band; "Two steps from Hell." Mark composes a unique taste in his songs. It actually tells a story of whatever the listener thinks of.

    Mark Petrie is a wonderful trailer music composer. His style consists of electronic explosion music supported by cool orchestral themes. As opposed to some more mainstream epica artists, he doesn't use choirs, preferring a more gritty, down to earth action sound to the 'up in the clouds' feeling choirs often add. I sincerely hope more albums become available, because I am hooked. The best tracks are 'Artemis' which is just plain epic, 'Richat', which was used in the 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2' trailer, 'Virtus', which sounds a little like a remix of 'Richat', and 'Proioxis' which feels like a variation on a Lord of the Rings theme. Please, more albums!
