Some of the most incredible music written in our era. His mix of compositional understanding and jazz harmony comes together in a breathtaking way. With obvious influence from Hindemith and post-romantic music of the classical genus, his Herbie-esque style comes through in the incredible harmonies. The Path among the Trees is my personal favorite on the track, I've listened to it close to 100 times. Next, I absolutely love Pavane, a tune mixing his classical and jazz background. one of the best albums of our era, without a doubt.
