Yes this greatest hits collection is loaded with timeless classics. But if you want to dig deeper into her illustrious catalogue , check out Hidden Gems (which is a companion to this ). Better yet listen to Dionne’s many great studio albums .
The underrated Very Dionne album has lots of live classic songs on it too.

Missing Dionne Warwick Music

Dionne Warwick's Friends album recorded in 1985 is missing from her catalogue of music on iTunes. Why is it not available for purchase? It was an important album when the music was first released.

Ahhh, this brings back fun memories of singing these songs with girlfriends on the front stoop. Or of me trying to sing like Dionne in the mirror with a fake microphone. I love this album...this great album of memories.

She sings the original, and for me the best rendition of (There's) Always Something There to Remind Me. Thank goodness they met and worked together because the Bacharach/David/Warwick collaboration is one of the greatest in music history.
OK, I'll be the first

RIP, Hal David . . . . . although, you were getting a bit long in the tooth . . . . .
Walk On By is a live version.

Walk On By is a live version with applause at the beginning and end, out of character with the rest of the cuts. I bought a separate copy of the song from Rhino and plugged it into the collection.
Classic Recording Artist

Dionne Warwick has a legacy of music recorded. Her 60s recordings are awesome. True voice is heard through out. Not the tricks and audio tuning of today's below average, no-talent fare. In youth, Warwick could flex here vocals unlike anybody. She is the inspiration for many. Most particularly Cilla Black, Dusty Springfield,LuLu,Shirley Bassey, Luther Vandross, Chaka Khan, Aretha (she used to do alot of Warwick covers) and the recently deceased Whitney Houston.
Learn history! This is the woman who is the basis of a POP female recording artist. She is the woman whom set the standard.
