Nutcracker

My dance studio does this show every year around cheistmas (I had just started practice) And let me say, I am very happy I found it! Now I can practice at home and the songs are beautiful. Yes they are broken down, but that can be good in many ways!! The haters don't know what they are talking about (first review on this album) And they have no clue how great it is. But I just have a question. (As a dancer in this show) what song is Mother Ginger? The sugar plum fairy music is great and also as the rest of the album. And witch one is fight scene? The slbum is great. I have much more to say but, I've said enough for right now. But really this album is perfect for me!!

We go to Nutcracker in SF every year, so having this recording is the best! It reminds us of being there! Now we can listen all year long! Love it! If you have never been to see The Nutcracker, you must experience it with the San Francisco Ballet if you can. The first performance of Nutcracker in the United States was here, and it is just wonderful!

i am a dancer, but i am also a kid. my music teacher loved the way i danced to this in class, but all the other CDs i woul dhave to listen to all of the different scores to find the right ones, but with this one they have most of the names!!!!!! yay thank you people!!!!!

This is the most complete album I've found out there- but believe me, i know i haven't found them all! As a dancer, I greatly appreciate this one!

It's a fantastic recording of a fantastic piece by a fantastic composer, performed by a fantastic orchestra. HOWEVER: I would hazard a guess that about a quarter of the full ballet form is simply not here; and it really annoys me! It doesn't really matter all that much, especially if you've never heard or seen the entire thing - the essence is here, and again, it's done very well. However, I HAVE seen and heard the entire thing, so it's a minor inconvenience. If you're a purist for such things, find another recording, but if it won't bother you, this will be fine.

im a dancer and we use a certain cd and i could never find the on with the right tempo. but this is it! its amazing and quite beautiful

Im glad that itunes has this because im a dancer(o ya go all u other dancers!) and this christmas my studio is putting on a performance of this and so i needed the songs so i could practice! and i also LOVE this ballet and when i was 4 i saw it in sanfrancisco so ya! i recommened this album for any1! go dance!!
