    I have a huge collection of Beethoven recordings. After purchasing this set, I can tell this will be one of my favorites. The recording itself sounds as if i'm sitting in the room with the artists. Chilling at times to listen to. I only wish Opus 24 would have been included as it's one of my favorite Beethoven pieces.

    Ibragimova's studio Bach was rather good for a first go but her live recording lacks that something special that her last one had. The tiny, anemic tone is probablly what put me off. That that the ensemble problems with Tiberghien. It could have been an issue with the hall however and both seemed to have no problem playing the notes. The interpretation just couldn't win me over. -Bz
