one of the best ablums to put on and kick it, run to, and cruise to. Sure to become one of your top albums to have ready to play.

I agree. DJDEVIN should perhaps consider that fact that not all music is made for the same purpose, and that Nightmares On Wax probably didn't "accidentally" make a very repetetive record. True, some people have musical ADD, and can't stand to listen to music that doesn't develop at a moderate pace, but there are indeed people out there, myself included, that like to have an album like this one (where the artist clearly has a lot of subtly expressed talent rather than arrogant show off talent) to appreciate, and to chill to. If you've ever wished you could find an album to simply "live" to, look no further.

As usual, its not about how disgusting, how annoying, or how dumb the album is. This is music activity in the making.

I'm a big fan of NOW and love all their albums. The latest is no different than the others: you'll soon be grooving to this great collection of funk/lounge songs. This is the perfect album to put on to get the party started.

The vocal ramblings are not significant enough to warrant being thrown into the mix. 'Bringin It' should have been left off the album since the dude is annoying. Also on the subject of being soulful, it's not the problem of this album, but others albums just do it better...see Badu's latest with its change-up in producers making it an inspiring listen from front to back. For such a promising DJ there is not enough action, not enough 'change' within each song. The downtempo can get a little bland from start to finish. I would enjoy this being mixed with other songs from the genre to make me appreciate the individual songs. Good for DJs as another lp to pull tracks from in the mix otherwise, just avg.

I've been a fan of N.O.W. since the mid nineties with Smoker's Delight....I love the vibe anytime of day or night! Cool, clean and appropriate for any group you might be entertaining. Just f*cking buy it.
  • E.A.S.E. great trip hop DJ but this is a bit different

N.O.W has never been disappointing using great samples, mellow lines and great dub and hip hop beats over the years. This new project thought so is a bit different for DJ E.A.S.E. As opposed to some of his past work which was very reggae and hip hop inspired, this has a more soul feel and for the first time since I can recall very vocal heavy on his part. I have to admit this is very well orchestrated and thought out. You can here a lot of the soulful disco and funk inspired tracks among the reggae dub and trip hop typically found in his music. With the exception of the intro (which is weak but easily skipped) the rest of the tracks deserve a listen to. The first two full tracks, Da Feelin' and 195lbs, are so strong the both were put on loop on my ipod. Da Feelin' is definitely disco inspired and would fir in at any disco across the US or even for that matter would be perfect for any Studio 54 party. I love the reggae feel of 195lbs and the distorted vocal is off the hook. The stand out track for me is Hey Ego! This is by far an amazing dub track with an incredible sample. Probably one of his best to date. I highly recommend this to any dub head or club head who wants to feel neo soul, trip hop, disco, or reggae. This is far from disappointing from one of the greatest DJ's on the planet right now.
