I love Amanda Lear so much and I really enjoy her touching every genres of music. However, this album gets really boring, especially after "Johnny"; as all of them are very smokey songs which gets heavier with Amanda's husky voice. Amanda rocks when she sings two of these kind of songs in an album like "Heart", where she also sings upbeat club songs. But an album full of jazzy classics is a bit too challenging for Amanda. Although it's not a bad album, I guess it's enough just to get few bits from the album such as "Whatever Lola Wants", "Deshabiliez-moi" and "Johnny".

Amanda's latest covers standards as only she can, growling, purring, speaking, gliding through irristible melodies with the confidence and style that is uniquely Amanda Lear's. Fans looking for the pumping dance sound of her signature hit FOLLOW ME may long for her dance roots, but this version of the album includes two beat heavy remixes of classics QUEEN OF CHINATOWN and TOMORROW. They are slightly out of place in this collection, but its Amanda Lear 100% and she is a force to be reconned with! She is beautiful, fun, sexy and throroughly entertaining. Best tracks: C'EST MAGNIFIQUE, WHATEVER LOLA WANTS and MY BABY JUST CARES FOR ME with her clever nod to David Bowie.

Amanda has been a solid performer for many years, and this album reflects some of her singing at it's best. This is the classiest album she has ever done complete with orchestra and flair. She departs from her usual methodology and it takes her to new heights. I can only hope I look this great in my 70's... she is amazing!
