the only word I can think of to describe this incredibly talented lady. She gave up her career to tend to a severely brain-damaged daughter, but as far as I am concerned, she has only gotten better with age. Give her newer albums a test. You'll be pleased. Phoebe, you are the ultimate when it comes to music!

I love female vocalists with great character in their voices. Phoebe Snow is not a household name but this album is a wonderful showcase for her immense talent. Teach Me Tonight is the pure winner here, with My Girlish Ways and Don't Let Me Down close behind. iTunes classifies this as Pop and it's anything but - blues, jazz, R&B. FYI, you might recognize her voice on Paul Simon's great version of Gone At Last on his Crazy After All These Years album.
