Kings of the New Age in 22 was an attempt by State Champs to take pop punk back to basics and show all the new artists how to make good quality music in this genre. Not only did they continue that trail, but elevated (no pun intended) themselves on this album. Youthful rebellion and looking back on themselves screams throughout the album with Golden Years closing out the album in a way to basically say let’s find something new in this life. Absolutely sensational album by the Albany boys.
