Definitely a step down from Bleeding Sun and Blind Kings though. I was hoping they would keep that sound. The breakdowns are pretty nice though, I found myself head banging a few times. The Deathcore drops felt a bit muddy.

My only gripe is, at 27 minutes, the album feels like it ends too soon. It’s a good sound/vocals that’s built on top of previous work, and it’d have been great to have 2-3 more songs here.

I was a huge Alex fan but I have to admit I didn’t really like how he kept switching styles every album he was to experimental. It was working for a while and then yeah like even pop stuff started coming from cg just wasn’t the direction I liked but I stuck with them . Tom breathed life into this band again and really ignited that fire. This song alone tops his entire performance on his first album with Chelsea grin . Tom was always a beast he’s impressive . And talented. No disrespect to Alex . If you don’t know toms side band darko us You will experience some truely alien and brutal vocals Tom is out of this world . 🛸 I can’t wait to hear what he brings on this double album I don’t think we are ready 😳😳😳😈 🐍
