Son House really brings me into a different time , and I really like where the music takes me. Like Trent C said he is compared to the great h Robert Johnson, Blind Wille Johnson and the others... and should be in that grouping. I am a fan of the blues and this nowin my collection , I hope you'll consider adding it to yours

Son House changed my life, i was down in the dumps after my girlfriend left me and I found a dusty record in the corner of my room. I picked up the album and put it in the record player, what happened next is history as they say. My room immediately iluminated as though gandalf had cast a light spell across the entire room. At that moment i knew that I wanted to become a doctor. I was a smart boy and got accepted into Harvard. After 8 vigorous years at med school I finally got a job as superintendent of the brooklyn school district, I saved many kids that year. Without Son House kids like Tyron, Miguel, Javier, Enriques, and Raul would not be alive. Thank you.

Son House is amazing, there's no question about it, but this album is probably the best one on itunes. It'd be nice if it had more songs (some of the other ones have more tracks), but this is by far the best quality. If you're interested in this guy at all, then this is the best album to buy. It's got all of his most famous songs, good quality and a great price. You can't go wrong!

Son House is the blues. If there was no Son House, there would be no Robert Johnson!

Son House is Amazing! He can be compared to the great bluesman like Robert Johnson, Charley Patton, Blind Willie Johnson and Blind Lemon Jefferson! If you are a fan of the blues this album is a must have! You will be compelled by the guitar technique and vocal stlyings on this record!!! Buy it!
