This is the female on this account, and I just wanna say I totally had the tape and CD of these songs. LOVED THEM! To be honest, as a little girl, I thought it was their own original songs and a week later aftering owning it my dad proved me oh so very wrong. Still, they did a great job on redoing these good oldie favorites like Happy Together, You are the Universe, From the Jump, all of them. It's more targeted for the young girls of 5-10yrs old, but it's still a great compilation of very empowering songs. I'd recommend it as a gift to any little girl you know.

When i was 2+ i would listen to this with my cousin megan and we would sing and dance to this and i LOVED this CD so i "borrowed" it from her and u know borrowing when your 5 so i took it and had it for years then she found it and took it from me :( those were the days! :D

I completely did not expect iTunes to have this! This was my favorite tape, ever, at the age of 6. I think that it was back before we even had CD's! (I had New Kids On The Block, too.) I loved this album! I would always dance around to it, and you know how amusing that is when it's a child, much less a grown woman...This album is one of those that you can't help but tap your foot to (at the least). It rocks!
