If there are 2 people meant to sing each other’s songs it’s the father daughter duo of John and Lilly Hiatt. Beautifully capturing a song the other has written. All kinds of people is a song that instantly gets stuck in your head and Lilly’s version of Johns You must go is just as catchy. As a huge John Hiatt fan as well as a Lily Hiatt fan but on their own I was curious how this would work. I am so glad this happened. I can only hope they will do a whole CD of this kind of work together. Nice work!
