I was super disappointed to see that this album is not even off of the original Jodeci Album that I played over and over again as a teenager when it first came out. This version is missing one of the biggest hits off of the original album “The Show, the after party, the Hotel” CD which is, “Freak’n you” I mean that song was so big, it was the first single off of the album in the summer of ‘95 and they even made a music video for it. So why is it not included on this version that Apple iTunes is selling?

The Show, the After Party, the Hotel is a musical masterpiece masterminded by the genius that is is DeVante Swing of the legendary iconic band Jodeci. Jodeci's third album is still ahead of it's time as it sounds just as fresh today. Released Jan. 1st, 1995...I was in my early teens and easily knew it was classic after the very first playthrough. Critics were quick to call it indulgent and not focused on singles like their previous masterpieces, but that was plain stupid to even criticize when this is a musical journey of an album...intended on being cinematic and a new experience for Jodeci fans and music period. First of all, all the music is beautifully well written, vocally slayed and geniusly produced. Secondly, why would DeVante and crew not prolong the grooves when it's obvious these songs were going to excite lovemaking sessions?...lol. I remeber saying that the last song Good Luv feels as if it's the end credits rolling to this Jodeci film. This album also feels like a double-disc worth of music on a single disc. The Show, the After Party, the Hotel is Jodeci's sexiest and most sensual album and every single second of this album is pure CLASSIC. Best male group ever....K-Ci, Jo-Jo, Mr. Dalvin and DeVante Swing...I love all ya'll!
