Winterland

Okee Dokee is a family favorite around here, for sure! This album is so special - we love them all, but this one has something magical about it. ❄️

We absolutely love this album. We have all their music and it’s such enjoyable, family friendly music. Since we bought this album, we listen to it daily and everyone, from mom and dad to the kids loves it.

Songs with heart.

This is a great follow up to their amazing trilogy of adventure albums. My kids love most of the songs, especially 'Blankets of Snow' and 'Slumberjack'. We apprecaite the celebration of winter at the thematic core of the album, and the constant inspiration to have our own adventures and to just get outside and see the world. We own all their albums from 'Take it outside' onward, and this is one of, if not, their best yet.

Ones dokee brothers delivers again! Thank you for making delightful, intelligent, clever and creative music for everyone!!! My kids love listening as I do too!!! I highly recommend this album to everyone!!

Great album for kids and parents!

You cannot help but smile as you embark on any Okee Dokee album. These are some of the most exuberant and joyful songs in their whole repertoire: perfect for helping housebound kids in winter get all their wiggles, bounces, and howls out. It's also a very tender album. "You you you" might be the most beautiful song they've ever written, capturing in language the tumbling sideways feeling of a beautiful day with those you love. And we cheer for "Snowpeople" – a song that subtly promises nothing more than that we are loved and lovable, whoever and however we are. (It's hard to believe anyone would balk at such a message.) Joe and Justin, once again, have given us the gift of a joyful, rich, and real take on life, splashed onto a raucous backdrop of wonderful songs.

Beyond the goofiness and giggles, of which there are many (especially in The Abominable Yeti, which gets about 6 plays daily at our house), and about more than appreciating nature in all its seasons, Winterland offers kids and parents a message of inclusivity and acceptance. The Okee Dokee Brothers give families a real gift and tool for raising children in a fractured world to be the smart, kind, brave people we so badly need more of. And Joe and Justin present themselves as role models of that ideal; two grown men with their hearts on their sleeves, poetry on their tongues, and friendship always foremost on their minds.

Folksy, catchy, a celebration of loveand nature and this beautiful world! We bought it for the kids, but my husband and I love it just as much.

Looking toward another Minnesota winter is not always easy. This music is a balm for the soul, and a great reminder of the joys of winter. The icing on the cake is the amazing themes around love that the Okee Dokee Brothers bring into this album. My family really feels seen and loved!
