The Young Birder’s Guide to Oregon is an introductory course for all nature-enthusiasts and young birders alike. This guide goes over what is Birding, how to correctly interpret field guides, how binoculars work, and how to accurately and thoroughly describe birds and their behaviors. This guide will briefly introduce 25+ of Oregon’s Bird Species (mainly in the Pacific Northwest). While doing so, you will see example field guide entries, advanced ID tricks, and morph/color differences within individuals. Please use this book diligently to share your birding experiences with those around you and to enhance your own identification skills.
