It is a dark, sick, and evil novel that has death and destruction with darkness. An ordinary man is hanged by an already dead judge who stepped out of a painting to kill him. Hanging him by a rope that he had used to hang his convicted "criminals" attached to a bell tower. As he was dying, the bell rang, causing the people of the village to see what it was and find his mysterious death, the only other difference with the room was the painting of the judge with an evil smile. The most disgusting book that I couldn't even finish

Very easy and effortless read. The narration makes the visualization of the events by the reader as if he is right there.
