Description

Long since sensing something was amiss, but not quite sure of where to put the finger on it; an abashed but grateful elite leadership in the House of Representatives was lucky enough that a great unelected American preferring to remain anonymous had come forward (or rather had declared while still in hiding); had come forward admitting to not have heard it himself, but to having heard from someone anonymous else who had thought they had overheard something in a 25 July 2019 protected diplomatic phone call between U.S. President Donald Trump & that other President from the Ukraine; a something that the person who claimed to have been doing the eavesdropping decided was something that two heads of state shouldn't be discussing in a protected diplomatic conversation environment. This was to get the Ukraine Government "to interfere in our elections" & "interfere in our democratic process!" Amazingly steamy stuff; front-page news-worthy no doubt;

Arising from the anonymous gossip's noteworthy contribution is an impeachment saga which many will already have perceived as precursor to the 2020 Presidential Election, revealing itself to be more of interest than the dry scheduled, scripted broadcast "Debates" between Democratic Presidential Candidates. Though like the debates, the impeachment drama avoids touching upon a fundamental issue motivating the impeachment drive. The Democratic Party favors reentering the "nuclear deal."
After a summer of Iranian repeated attacks on Gulf oil shipping, & crippling assaults on 2 Saudi oil refineries; Iran on 5 Jan. 2020 Iran declared it would begin enriching uranium to whatever level of concentrated radioactivity, & in whatever quantities suits it. Some protest was lodged by Germany, France & the UK. Memos were sent around the U.N.; & as in so many like cases before; that was the end of the matter and the nuclear deal is now allowed to continue without controls on Iranian uranium enrichment. The Iran nuclear deal is publicized as a deal to cap Iranian uranium enrichment.
The deal can no longer pretend that as its purpose. The deal persists by reason its evident most important aspect as a project, under U.N. sponsorship, facilitating lucrative international sales to Iran of ballistic & nuclear arms associated goods, support services and technologies while preventing IAEA inspections of such; all of this in violation of treaty, & which has been allowed since 16 Jan. 2016. The assistance provided under the deal is documented by the text of the Iran deal itself, & by ongoing U.N. Reports verifying the progress of this arms sales project.

Trump has placed sanctions which have crippled the progress of arms related sales to Iran; Trump must go and sanctions must be dropped for contraband weapons sales (in violation of treaty) to successfully resume; and for domestic arms suppliers interests to reenter the Iranian weapons market. Sales on conventional weapons to and from Iran are allowed as of Oct. 2020. The Democrats pledge a return to the deal while maintaining the over 4 year silence (with Republican assent) on what the deal entails.

This writing covers the content of the Articles of Impeachment; discusses the premises of the 2 impeachment articles in their repugnance to the Constitution; & that the "evidence" propping the articles is utter fabrication, or speculation, or hearsay gossip treated as fact. The accusers don't care because it's well known once gossip is in the current day press it acquires a life of its own.

The writing discusses the impact on U.S. implementation of foreign policy as it is now widely known that the U.S. Congress does not respect international norms of confidentiality in diplomatic correspondence and conduct, and will unwisely intervene in that area the Constitution reserves exclusively to the Executive. The book also documents & explains what the nuclear deal does entail and why it persists.
