This book brings knowledge to the reader about the gospel and the reality that god work’s thru imperfect beings. Nothing is perfect here on earth yet rust doesn’t make it, as a whole, bad when something or someone doesn’t perform completely free of error. PS Can you publish the second version on here, because I find it a lot more enjoyable to read here than in the church app. Plus it’d be good for people that don’t want the app.

I enjoyed learning more about the History. It was inspiring and amazing to learn from those who participated in the early days of the restoration of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Saints is mormon history The Standard the church has for truth is Not all things that are true are useful As well as other quotes it’s history it’s just not all of it .it’s as usual with the church they whitewash and rewrite their history if you want to see what I am referring to read .one nation under gods compare it with Saints .and you’ll see what I am talking about the church has clipped out many parts of its history that were not flattering to Joseph and the early church . many parts of Saints are only a partial portrayal of the actual historical picture The Lds church leaders are not honest as anyone who actually looks at the original source documents will soon see is the case Saints is a attempt to pacify church members curiosity in the hopes that members will believe that the church is now being honest and look no further . The church claims that the churchs detractors will make up lies . The reality is there is no need to do such as the source documents and the churches contempt of history clearly shows who the real liars are Boyd k paker has spoken on this there is a temptation for the writer or the teacher of church history to want to tell everything whether it is worthy or faith promoting or not Some things that are true are not very useful . This must also mean that some things that are not true must be very useful as Is clearly evidenced with the churches habit of rewriting its history what a early document says is often changed to say something different later on Look elsewhere if you want the whole complete truth

This narrative is such an easy and enjoyable read. I can’t wait for volume 2. I appreciate how raw and true it portrayed Joseph Smith. Helps you realize he is a man of God, but also he is a man with faults. Thank you Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

This book is a great read. Written in a narrative style it is easy to read as well. It has details about church history that add to what I already knew. One thing I really like is it shows how these men and women were fallible, yet humble seekers of the truth. Knowing the sacrifices that they made makes me appreciate what I have more. Try the first couple of chapters and you won’t be able to put it down. I love this!
