Peter Gabriels concept was to cover bands who would, in turn, cover his songs. Meaning he created this otherworldly ...sort of... double album that (as far as i can see) has never been done before. His covers are unique enough, making them Gabriel originals in his own way. The bands he chose to cover are pretty diverse. Its cool to see who he appreciates musically. How amazing would it be to find out Peter Gabriel wanted to cover your music AND have you cover his??
