I bought the disc without previewing the album, but the fact that Stevie Wonder took part is what made me buy it. All songs sound like some stupid pop song. Definitely didn't expect that from Snoop Dogg.

But not bad. I like this funky disco snoop. But I was expecting hip-hop, which is the only bad side. It's a pretty good album 8/10.

Album to good. The grooves are out this world. Your arms will start moving and body swaying back and forth then next you know you're dancing.
  • This is NOT doggystyle,

If you're looking for snoops classic rap like doggystyle or tha doggfather this is not for you. This album is straight funk. If you're looking for something to just chill to and smoke a blunt I'd pick it up
  • Grade A, OG chill boat.

Man, this album was just what I needed. So, so good. The very first track, California Roll, featuring Stevey Wonder is an instant classic. Awake is just amazingly catchy, perhaps my favorite track. This is an album with almost no explicit lyrics, although almost every song talks about weed, which one would expect from a Snoop album. Just get it. It’s the freaking bomb.

This album is FUNKY!! It's a shame it took me so long to sit down and listen to it. A fun, and fresh album. Pharrell does his thing and you can tell this is a genuine Neptunes produced album. But the trio of Snoop, Pharrell, and Charie Wilson is unmatched. Bush has the Snoop Dogg of tracks like "Beautiful" "Let's Get Blown" "Signs" and "Sexual Eruption." Definitely a fun album, worth my of listen.

This album is cold man. We haven't had music flowing through speakers like this in a good 10 plus years. Barely any vulgarities. Just good Rythm and Gangsta and less gangsta for sure. Snoop isn't the top of the top but he is a legend and he brought us another legendary album here. I'm sick of the drake and future esq type rapping especially that thugger/migos bs. Thanks Snoop
