    To this day Rattle's rendition of this symphony still stands as the best interpretation ever. Not only is his work beautiful, but the orchestra is absolutely perfect, and the recording quality is fantastic. This orchestra is arguably the best in the world and has been for quite some time. Anyone who is a fan of Mahler's great symphonic works must listen to this. I promise you will not be disappointed.
