What a gift... Beautiful beyond words. Deepest gratitude to Cash-Carter family for releasing this album. Powerful works of art and expression of a soul that simply stops the time. Thank you so much!

How did these songs remain hidden all these years?? These are quite possibly some of the greatest Cash songs ever! Absolutely love this album from beginning to end! THIS IS REAL COUNTRY MUSIC! Not this pop crap they try to pass off as "CUNTRY" music today! Johnny Cash is legendary and will always be so! Brilliant!
  • The Greatest

This album only supports the notion that Johnny Cash was the greatest country singer and/or greatest musician of all time. This album covers a couple of genres from classic country, to ballads, to gospel, to rock. Johnny just nails them all. I am so glad that we finally have this missing piece from his puzzle. Way to go Mr. Cash, and the world still misses you and needs you.

Honestly, I don't know how these songs got lost! They're awesome! I truly wish I was able to go see him perform before he died. Amazing Cash!

I hope they find a thousand more lost songs. This is vintage Cash. I miss him but this helps.
  • SUCH A SHAME IT WAS 'LOST' BEST EVER

This may be one of his best albums ever and such a shame it was 'lost' since 1984. Not a bad track on it and the title track, Baby Ride Easy , and Don't You think It's Come Our Time rate right up there with the very best

A truly great Cash recording highlighting some of his best compositions, duets and melodies in the later stages of his great career. If you're a real Johnny Cash fan then you will not be disappointed.

When someone first told me about this "lost album" that was coming out I could not take them serious. A "lost" Johnny Cash album ? There is no way that is possible, but with some research I did of my own, oh my was I shocked. I could not believe that there was Cash music that the world was missing out on. Especially my father missing out on it, him being a die hard Cash fan along with myself. I bought the album just the other day and I can not stop listening to it, it just fills me with such emotion, and great feelings I can not even describe. Cash will never die I can tell you that. Keep rockin' you old soul !!!
  • Johnny Cash still greatest

This series of recordings reaffirms Cash's title as greatest country musician of all time and his place as a fantastic story teller. Was at a Cash concert in the '90s and he was still telling the newer supposed country music establishment to shove its pop sound where the sun don't shine. Thank God for this CD and for Kacey Musgraves and a revival of real country.
