Frank Sinatra: Where Are You?

Sinatra was the consummate jazz singer. These ballads when his voice was in its mature prime, are singularly emotional. My particular interest was finding his recording of Autumn Leaves, which he recorded only once. I added to my purchase his recording of It Never Entered My Mind, an amazing, heart rending song. He recorded it twice; I prefer the earlier one he did while at Columbia, when his youthful voice was in its fullest glow. I can’t think of a Sinatra recording I wouldn’t recommend. Check out his Send In The Clowns. He leaves Judy Collins, who had a hit with it at about the same time, in the dust.
