  • Even a More Modern Young Messiah

I have to admit I am terribly attached to the original Young Messiah that was realeased by Dayspring(?) , narrated by Barry McGuire and inculcated with the likes of Andre, First Call, Phil trumpet-guy, Wayne Watson, Sandy Patty and other Christian artists of the early 1980’s. Absolutely loved it, and it’s out of print. So this version pales in comparison and yet it is still uplifting. Here’s to a contemporary Messiah.

I attended this concert several years ago and it was the best concert I have ever been to. This album is every bit as wonderful as being there again. Every song will touch the depths of your soul. The best display of the Handel's Messiah I have heard in years. Well done :-)

This modern interpretation of Handel’s Messiah is vibrant and alive with energy. The work is performed with passion and precision, and the message of The Messiah has not been lost. It has become for me, a classically trained musician, one of my very favorite holiday traditions. In short, I LOVE this album! Put on your headset, crank up the volume, and listen again to the powerful message of Handel’s Messiah!
