One of rock musics true classics. Ranks up there with anything by Dylan, Stones or the Beatles.

I heard Uncle John’s Band on the radio in 1970. I had paid no attention to the Dead before– I don’t think the Dead experience came through with the albums then out when played as single tracks between other songs. I was hooked, and soon had Live Dead too, and was going to concerts, and am still hooked.

I got this album when I was in high school and was the first Grateful Dead album I owned. Years later I still enjoy every song.

I took this album from my dad and put it in my computer, imported it, and then listened. And it was great. I was delighted by the sound. It's a must-buy for all Dead Heads, regular Grateful Dead fans, Furthur fans, Phil Lesh and Friends fans, Ratdog fans, Shakedown fans, etc. Basically, if you like GD, get this

Focused, easy, and poetic: acoustic Dead at its finest. Every song is just a classic, a true beauty
